Product: Old
Review: Every human being in possession of soul, spirit, and ears should own this album. Starflyer 59 is one of those bands that almost relishes in being unknown, although unfairly so as I am concerned. But that makes them all the more wonderful.
One listen to "Underneath" = all it takes to realize you've stumbled upon Tooth and Nail's best-kept secret, not to mention shoegazing indie rock - and heck, even ROCK - at its absolute finest. RadioU may never play them again (trust me, I've tried to request 'em), but that doesn't mean...uh, well, just buy this CD, eh? You'll thank me later.

Product: Mutemath
Review: An absolutely fantastic album. I am so excited about Mutemath's future. If they keep on this track they should become a household name! Very progressive, although only classic 70's prog sounding bands get the priviledge of holding that banner. To cut to the chase, I haven't stopped listening to it since I got it. Which is kind of annoying because I got a lot of other music I want to listen to, but I just can't get over these guys!!

Review: If you are like me, and you grew up listening to Pink Floyd, Rush and other similar bands, you will love this CD. This is the best of the 70's updated to the 90's. It is just a tiny bit dated in spots, but overall very good quality, great lyrics, and one you'll listen to over and over.

Product: Chaotic Resolve
Review: To these ears, Plumb cannot do any wrong! I've been following this band since the late 90s, while in college, and they've gotten better with age. Chaotic Resolve is their darkest and heaviest disc to date. With that said, Tiffany never compromises the melody and hooks that is essential to the Plumb sound. If you're into bands such as: Evanescence and Lacuna Coil, then give Plumb's Chaotic Resolve a listen. You'll be very surprised!

Product: Swirling Mellow/Meat the Farmbeetles
Review: This album is awful. I feel like I got ripped off. I have 3 other Swirling Eddies albums that are good. Zany, crazy music by Terry Taylor and the boys. But this album is not like the others. They are trying to be funny, and some songs are, but it is not the typical Eddies music. Think elevator music and hillbilly versions of Beatles songs, and that's what you got here. Buy another Eddies album, not this one.

Product: Whitecross 1987
Review: One of the best Christian metal bands of the 80's, Whitecross mixed stunning guitar work with powerful vocals and lyrics that anyone can understand. This band flat out rocks, especially on their earliest albums. This is a reissue of their self-titled debut album with the single "Love on the Line" added in (which was from the compliation "Heavy Metal Thunder"). The band has a unique sound that is probably best compared to Ratt, but does not shrink away from delivering a good Christian message.

Product: Gut Level Music / Against the Grain
Review: This is a great bargain -2 albumns for price of one! I remember the first albumn from way back in the day (even went to a few of the concerts -what energy!), it is very well balanced and defies categorization (alt-blues-rock maybe?). The music is raw and puts itself right where it needs to be -in your gut. You Found Me and Final Hour are crafted so well -the music reflects the emotion of the story perfectly. The second album was new to me when I bought this, but it's got great tunes too. Two of my faves are "Human Sound" and "Count on Love" -same effect different albumn, great stuff!

Review: This has "Metal Album Of The Year" written all over it. When I say that, I mean in both Christian and secular markets. In the first 2 weeks that I got the CD, I probably played it at least 20-30 times. I've NEVER played any other album in my collection (over 1200 CD's) that many times in such a short period of time (I've never played "The Triptych" by DEMON HUNTER that many times!).
YOU MUST GET THIS ALBUM, PRONTO!!!

Product: A Grateful People
Review: A must have for all Watermark fans and a great start for those who are just learning about Watermark! Has atleast *1* song of their previous *4* albums. It has *4* new songs including #1! song Light of the World / Title Track: "A Grateful People" / "Arise and Be Comforted" with Shane and Shane and "Elliana's song" for their daughter. So many special guests (special friends) that help to highlight the album including Chris Tomlin, Point of Grace, Shane & Shane, Ed Cash, and Charlie Hall.
"A Grateful People" touches the heart and the Holy Spirit. The lyrics are so touching and poigant, very different than christian music today. Thoughts and feelings of our Savior Jesus Christ surely come as you listen. Christy's Nockel;s voice might be the best in Christian music today! Its so angelic and passioniate with such great range and strength! Nathan and the band help with the arrangements make it very special and the live feel helps add to it. Its in front of their home church and its such a special recording as we always except out of Watermark!
Great way to go out Watermark!

Product: Define the Great Line
Review: An acessible release that combines the catchy singing from Aaron and Spencer's stellar vocal work. Everything sounds "big" and produced, but with energy. While I usually don't enjoy this genre, the artful feel and production is incredible. Basicly a concept record filled with symbolistic menaing. A record created to be understood (even the screamo parts are clear) and enjoyed. From the first fine seconds of the opeining track to the epic closer, this record is basicly a story of finding God, a story of redemption. It reaches to lost and saved souls alike. Even if you cannot take the heavier genre, pick this up. Among the best albums of the year.

Because It is a Derri Daugherty/Steve Hindalong project, there are even some songs that were originally recorded for this album redone on the City Cd. Product: Hey, I'm a Ghost
Review: I first heard of Sullivan when I saw that they where opening for Subseven, on the Free To Conquer tour. After I witnessed their live show, I couldn’t wait for their debut album from Tooth & Nail Records. A few months later, I finally got my hands on Sullivan’s first full length album. After a listen to the first song, “Down Here, We All Float,” you will think that the lead singer from Coheed and Cambria decided to front a faster paced Terminal. Even though the vocals from Brooks Paschal can seem a little girly at times, you will soon learn to love them, and you wouldn’t imagine him singing it any other way. From the first to the last track, you will not be disappointed for one minute in this stunning album.

Product: And The Land of Fake Believe (AUTOGRAPHED COVER)
Review: The genre of pop/punk rock has become flooded with so many mediocre bands that it has almost become the norm. Eleventyseven’s and the Land of Fake Believe is anything but mediocre. With influences like Blink-182, StellarKart, and Relient K, Eleventyseven does a great job of continuing the fast paced punk action. Eleventyseven brings back the humor that many bands in the genre have left behind. The album includes song titles that will make you laugh like Yesterday’s Glues, Nostalgiatopia, and The Unicorn Revolt. But, underneath the humorous song titles are deep meaningful lyrics that convey a message only they could explain in true detail. Sometimes the songs sound so similar that I cannot tell the songs apart. Altogether with their pop/punk sound and touching lyrics, this [is] an album to grab...

Product: I Stand for You - Worship Volume one
Review: Tree63, became an instant success when they released “Blessed Be Your Name,” which became Billboard Magazine’s #1 song of 2004. Hailing from Durban, South Africa, Tree63 offers a unique sound of modern rock and praise & worship music. Now with their new release Worship Vol. 1, Tree63 is once again making an impact. Worship Vol. 1 features new live versions of Tree63 fan favorites along with new studio tracks. This CD will definitely bring you to a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. The music of Tree63 will appeal to fans of Delirious and Hillsong United.

Product: The Recovery
Review: Enlow has certainly recovered from their brief laps of inactivity, coming back to produce yet another screaming album. The guitar smashing, bass thumping, and drum pounding rhythms are to die for. The screaming vocals are an extra touch to top off the overall sound and mix of the instruments. Musically, the band shows plenty of signs of a mature group that has played together for an extended period of time; the simple ways in which everything comes together really emphasizes this. The Recovery is an album that brings a unique sound to the popular hardcore style. Though the music may be a little heavyedged for some, most will enjoy Enlow’s heavier punk sound.

Product: Chaotic Resolve
Review: Plumb’s fourth album “Chaotic Resolve” is aimed at a variety of genres, including grunge, rock, techno, and dance. The whole CD seems reminiscent of Evanescence, except with a much softer tone. “Good Behavior,” a song aimed at a heavier audience, is targeted more towards the grunge/metal crowd. Even athough it falls short of a metal sound, it has an extra edge to it. “Cut” is a song pointed emotionally towards the downtrodden and hard pressed. The lyrics are mostly formed on the basis of love bringing one out of the darkness. One thing is for sure; the only chaos in this album is planned chaos.

Product: Well Meaning Fiction
Review: If the young alternative trio Mainstay’s management and record label can push the right buttons, Well Meaning Fiction should bring the band welldeserved= recognition. The debut for BEC Recordings, home to Jeremy Camp, is one of the best albums in the past couple of years, Christian or otherwise. Expertly produced by Aaron Sprinkle (Kutless, Pedro the Lion), Well Mean Fiction is brimming with insightful but subtle lyrics and inspiring, entertaining melodies. The first single, ‘‘Take Away,’’ which wisely weighs the subversion of democratic principles against thanksgiving to God and submission to His will, is great, but ‘‘Danger,’’ a rare, empathetic look at temptation and the evils of lust, is even better. The same is true of the title track, an indictment of those who apply the Gospel to their lives based on convenience rather than conviction. Full of potential hits, Well Meaning Fiction will appeal to fans of Kutless, whose guitarist, Ryan Shrout, helped promote the band to success.

Product: Farewell (autographed)
Review: After 33 years of music and ministry, the pioneering Christian rock band Petra says “Farewell” with this live CD. Recorded October 4th at the W in Franklin, Tenn., the 14-song, onehour effort offers twenty years of tunes, ranging from early ‘80s favorites “For Annie” and “The Coloring Song,” to the opening ‘‘All About Who You Know’’ from the group’s final studio album, 2003’s Jekyll & Hyde. Petra was one of the first bands to step away from the confines of gospel and contemporary Christian music and incorporate hard rock into a wellversed message. By the standards of today’s many Christian rock radio stations, the music sounds dated, but the band’s message remains strong. Having paved the way for the many acts and stations that make today’s Christian rock cool, Petra is owed a long listen, particularly on this good-bye disc that reflects the different aspects of the band’s
influential career.

Product: This Too Shall Pass
Review: Chicago rockers, The Fold, have put together an awesome melodic sounding CD. This Too Shall Pass was just released in February 2006 under Tooth & Nail Records. This Too Shall Pass is the Fold’s debut CD, produced by Steven Haigler (The Pixies, Brand New) and Zach Hodges (Terminal). The Fold has already built a fan base and has been touring with great artists such as Spoken, Project 86, Walking Ashland and more. If you like your music with a mellow edge that you can still rock out to, then this CD is for you.

Product: The Fear is What Keeps us Here
Review: The Fear Is What Keeps Us Here is an album that is hidden in the shadows of some of the most climatic times for Zao.
This new release, produced by Zao and recorded by Steve Albini (Nirvana, The Pixies), is still same old Zao, yet it has
a lighter feeling to it. For some reason, this release is still pumping, aggressive, harsh sounding, and all with great
instrumentation. Some recognizable differences are that it is rawer sounding and has the “lighter feel” than previous
Zao releases. While it is still aggressive, it also has a hard rock “vibe” that helps the album to have that lighter feel.
Lyrically, it’s talking mostly about how people are stubborn or stuck in their own ways with a deeper and slightly darker
theme based off of “fear”. Zao’s newest release shows that they can change up their sound and stay true to how they
want to do their music. The Zao way.

Product: Knuckles Up
Review: This album is something unexpected, and utterly unbelievable. Finally, there is an
Irish sounding band, akin to the Dropkick Murphys, in the realm of Christian music.
Flatfoot 56 doesn’t just resemble the sound of the Dropkicks; it adds to it and
polishes its edges to a new shine. Essentially, Knuckles Up is one very uncommon
sounding album. The sound is that of straight up punk. No fancy add-ons to this
band, they have stayed true to the punk name. The bagpipes in “Brotherhood”
are so… (Insert synonym for amazing here). In fact, take the word you inserted,
and place it over the entire album because it holds true. Put your Knuckles Up for
Flatfoot 56 (Your thumbs too)!

Product: The Longing
Review: God whispered and Jason Ingram stopped to listen. Ingram, the gifted songwriter for dozens of top artists like Joy
Williams, Rebecca St. James, and Building 429, brought his life to a halt to listen for what God had next for him. After
what, according to Ingram, was a number of experiences that taught him to find his identity in Christ, he emerged with
a band called The Longing. What resulted was a low-key worship album that at the core simply desires God’s presence.
Ingram leads listeners to a place where brokenness brings grace, humility brings goodness, and surrendering brings
comfort. On “My Offering,” Ingram sings about giving his all to God, casting his fears, doubts, dreams, and crowns
aside. This act of sacrifice is laced throughout the album as Ingram sings about bowing his heart down and lifting it
up to God. The album also includes the celebratory anthem, “Salvation Song,” and the mercy plea, “Heal This Land.”

Product: The Healing of Harms
Review: Fireflight’s debut album, The Healing of Harms, has been my most anticipated CD release for 2006, and I must say that
it was well worth the wait. Orlando, FL’s Fireflight is a female fronted, Christian rock band that brings a fresh sound
that digs deep inside your heart, mind, and soul. From start to finish, The Healing of Harms is filled with hard driven
guitars, pulsating drums, and scorching melodies. My favorite track is “You Decide,” which also features Day of Fire’s
frontman, Joshua Brown, on guest vocals. The Healing of Harms is heavily saturated with thought provoking, positive,
and spiritual lyrics that offers a ray of help and hope. The album is produced by Skidd Mills who has also worked with
Saliva and Skillet. Lead singer Dawn Richardson carries dynamic vocals that can’t be compared to anyone else. Dawn,
along with band mates Wendy Drennen, Glenn Drennen, Justin Cox, and Phee Shorb are going to heat up the summer
and hearts with this album.

Product: The Best Worst-Case Scenario
Review: Aaron Sprinkle is back, and it’s about time. You may know Sprinkle as the producer
for bands such as Acceptance and Emery or you may have one of his numerous
solo CDs. Now after a three year hiatus, Sprinkle has started a new band, Fair,
with three friends, and their album The Best Worst-Case Scenario off of Tooth &
Nail Records never ceases to amaze me after countless listens. Whether you are
a fan of Sprinkle’s earlier albums or haven’t heard his music, you won’t regret this
purchase. The single “Carelessness” showcases the bands melodic, Indie/ Pop feel
that’s throughout the album. Don’t stop listening part way through the record,
because the end of the album is just as solid with tracks “Confidently Dreaming”
and the powerful “Unglued.” Intoxicating melodies, strong harmonies, Sprinkle’s
voice, and lyrics in The Best Worst-Case Scenario top off a near perfect album.
Welcome back.

Product: We Can't Stand Sitting Down
Review: The summer camp punk rockers are back with We Can’t Stand Sitting Down,
another adrenaline pumping masterpiece. We Can’t Stand Sitting Down is the
follow up to Stellar Kart’s 2005 debut album, All Gas. No Break. Before you press
play, you should prepare yourself for a rollercoaster ride. With the opening guitar
rift of “Procrastinating,” you’ll be pushed back in your seat, until you reach “Me and
Jesus,” the first single of the album that is almost written to perfection. Proceeding
on the track with the upbeat “Loose Control,” this song contains such a powerful
message that should be taken to heart by everyone that hears it. So when you
finally reach the end, don’t be surprised if you want to start the album all over
again.

Product: Tales from the Badlands
Review: Turn up the volume, crank up the bass, sit back, and enjoy the ride; just don’t forget to buckle up! The minute I played
the opening track, “Back in the Day,” it took me back to when I was growing up in the 80’s. Liquid has put together a
well produced album that is full of infectious beats that are mixed with a fusion of R&B, Old School Hip-Hop, 70’s Soul,
Jazz, Funk, Latin, and Reggae flavors. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Liquid is a multi-talented and gifted artist
with a fresh vibe, who delivers smooth vocals with lyrics that are poetic in nature. Signed to Gotee, Liquid is a modern
day story teller who shares about his life growing up in the inner city. It’s hard to pick a favorite track because the
whole album rocks, but I love track #6, “Sunrise,” which is a lyrical masterpiece that reminds us that there is always
a light of hope to pierce the darkness. Liquid brings old school to the new with Tales From The Badlands, definitely a
must have CD. It makes me wish I still had my ‘77 Grand Prix to cruise in.

Product: This is Who We Are
Review: Run Kid Run’s debut album This Is Who We Are hasn’t left the CD player in my car
since I bought it three weeks ago. The four-some, which consists of two former
members of Side Walk Slam, blend Pop, Rock, and Punk with notable lyrics that find
me singing along in my car when no one is watching. The first drum roll of “We’ve
Only Just Begun” had me hooked. These guys aren’t afraid to write lyrics about
their past mistakes and just simply praise God for His goodness. “The Modern
March” is a prayer about our need for Christ and how our human faults get in the
way. In “I’ll Forever Sing” the chorus says it all, “I have made my choice to follow,
I’ll worship you alone forever.” I promise that if you buy Run Kid Run’s This Is Who
We Are you won’t be disappointed.

Product: Say No More
Review: The wait is finally over! The long anticipated sequel to their self-titled debut
album has arrived. While there are only two new songs, “You Are the Judas of the
Cheerleading Squad” and “The Invisible Hook,” the new versions of the old songs
are still sweet sounding. The album is well worth the buy, for old fans who still
remember last years hit video Serial Sleepers, and for those new to the scene.
The band maintains their solid rock edge throughout the album, not turning off the
highway of rock in any manner. I will say no more except this: excellent!

Product: End of Silence
Review: Red’s End of Silence starts out with a calm, piano based intro. It’s like the calm before the storm because exactly one
minute and ten seconds into the album, Red explodes with the first track, “Breathe Into Me.” If you didn’t know this was
a Christian band, you would never se e the spiritual references in the music, making the album enjoyable for anyone
who has an open ear to listen. The pacing of the album is extremely well done; heavy songs blend well into slower songs
which blend nicely back into heavy songs. This is further proof that not only do you have to have a set of well written
songs, which Red sure does, but you also have to know exactly what order they need to be in to be received well. While
this is an overall well rounded album, I personally enjoyed the slower songs to a great extent. “Pieces” is a wonderful
showcase for the vocals which then goes right into “Break Me Down,” which is a great mix of both sides of Red. Overall
a wonderful experience.

Product: Cut and Move
Review: Tune up your air guitar and get ready to rock! It’s been almost 2 years since Day of Fire first impacted the scene with
their debut album which won them a Dove Award and a Grammy nomination. Now with the release of their sophomore
album Cut & Move, once again Day of Fire is going to achieve even more success. Cut & Move contains the same grungy
feel as their first CD did, but with more of a harder edge. Day of Fire’s front-man, Joshua Brown, carries his own unique
thunderous vocal style that stands out. On Cut & Move, Day of Fire has a tighter sound, and they have taken it up a
notch with their signature mix of raging riffs and catchy hooks. Lyrically, the songs deal with topics about addiction,
abuse, and abandonment, but offers hope through God’s love.

Product: Critically Ashamed
Review: When Trevor McNevan and Steve Augustine of Thousand Foot Krutch decided to
create FM Static, it was an idea that was just simply genius. Three years after
their debut album FM Static returns with a hard hitting, mood boosting album that
will have you laughing and crying until the end. With songs spanning from Avril
Lavigne to Volkswagen Jettas, Trevor does an outstanding job of making fun of
everything that has ever become popular in the mainstream market. Even William
Hung managed to make it into a song. So if you’re sick and tired of albums that
bring you down and put you in a bad mood, then look no further than to the new
FM Static album, Critically Ashamed.

Product: Rockin' Revival
Review: Servant's sophmore effort lost a bit of the focus and edge their debut displayed as they integrated a new keyboardist, but the musicianship and the message was still so strong that this remains a very good album. While every Servant album has many strong songs, this album features two of my favorites, "I'm Gonna Live", which I defy anyone to get out of their head after they've heard it once, and "Isolated", which is the first song that I recall challenging the community of Christians to be more forgiving, understanding and supportive of each other while painting a poignant picture of how fear of what others might think can paralyze us. The vocals on this album begin to conquer new territory in CCM by showing a passion not just for the love our Lord has shown us but also for the social justive He championed - not at all a popular subject in CCM at that time, but a cause that was gaining champions in all corners of the CCM music scene of the day. This album is so far above the norm in terms of message, music, and production quality in comparison to other works of that day, it still stands as an amazing work. God bless those who brought this album to CD and all their works.

Product: Shallow Water
Review: Servant's debut album was a blast of fresh air in what was largely a stultifying and anesthetizing world of CCM in the late 70's. The opening riff of the title track let all of us know right from the start that these folks were here to challenge our faith as well as praise our Lord. No mere singers of praise here, Servant was part of a rush of bands from that time that had decided that we need to confront Biblical truths head on in order to live out our beliefs. You name it, they hit it with this album. If you like early 70's rock from the pre-disco era or early Rez Band, you'll almost certainly like this album.

Product: Caught in the Act of Loving Him
Review: With this album and tour, Servant really began to get their artistic feet firmly planted; the musicianship, always tight, now was equal to or better than most of mainstream music, the vocals really began to cut loose with passion, and the sense of urgency and challenge that was always there became more empathetic and understanding and thus more compelling than ever. If you have to buy just one Servant album (and you should probably get them all if you like music that challenges you to be more than you are), then this album is certainly one to consider.

Product: World of Sand
Review: The "World of Sand" tour, which Servant shared with Petra for their "Never Say Die" tour, was the concert that showed me that people could sing about God in a non-narcotic way. I bought Servant's first two albums there (World of Sand was still at the printer's, apparently) and was simply blown away. These guys, along with Larry Norman, Petra, and Rez were carving sweeping chucnks of the musical landscape and adding as territory marked for God's music. This album is no exceptio. And if you never saw Sandy performing "Sudden Death" in concert, you have missed one of the most poignant performances in Christian music, ever. Kudoes to those who made these CDs happen and God bless your works.

Product: The Face of Love
Review: This album is packed with Christianity,
but it’s so skillfully injected into the
music that the average listener could
easily substitute God in the context of
the songs for a girlfriend/boyfriend or
ex girlfriend/boyfriend. The music itself
varies from average to brilliant. Face
Of Love, for example, is the gem on
the album and truly comes so close to
greatness that I could picture stadiums
filled with fans. Unfortunately, the rest
of the album is a little lacking. Some songs seem a little cookie cutter and
could benefit from an injection of happiness. Overall, this album could be
a good soundtrack to your dramatic life so give it a listen. You may find
that regardless of its flaws, there is still meaning and heart beneath the
surface.

Product: Wishing for Boardwalk
Review: Unique. If one word could sum up this
entire album, if one word was to define
the various sounds all at once, it would
have to be unique. The sound seems
to have its feet planted in older British

to flail around; an arm in rock, maybe
